Industrial Model of T267 Concrete Spraying Machine Designed in Iran
The project was carried out in the form of a master's thesis by Sorena Golparvar, a student of industrial design at the University of Tehran, under the guidance of Ali Faraji and Jamshid Emami, members of the faculty of the industrial design department of Tehran University, and it has reached the commercialization stage.
“The purpose of this research is the industrial design of T267 concrete spraying machine body and improving user interaction with this machine,” Faraji said.
“Concrete spraying is very important in the process of underground excavations because it prevents weathering and collapse. Concrete spraying machines are also used in the repair of various structures like bridges, tunnels, parking lots, ramps, wharves and dams,” he added.
“The design and construction of the sprayer should be in such a way that, in addition to high-quality performance, it guarantees the appropriate speed and safety of the user. In addition, pollution caused by compressed air and materials like cement and sand should be considered in the design of the device,” Faraji said.
In a relevant development last year, a student of Islamic Azad University’s Tabriz branch had also succeeded in inventing and manufacturing high-strength and high-resistance environmentally friendly recycled concrete by using nanotechnology.
“In this innovative project, after collecting and depositing the construction debris and waste in several stages, we separate them with new methods and then after the disposal stage of plaster and metal waste and other unusable data-x-items in the project, advanced washing is carried out in a closed space, the water of which is recycled and returns to the cycle, and the materials are washed clean and become free of harmful substances,” said Davoud Beheshtizadeh, a PhD student of civil engineering at Islamic Azad University’s Tabriz branch.
“In the next stage, inventive materials, including liquid composition of microsilica in a dose of 5%, 5% grout, metakaolin powder and raw perlite powder brought from the mining site and uncooked, are added,” he explained.
“The final stage of granulation of materials will be similar to the sand washing system and the prepared concrete can be used in production of concrete and new concrete and construction products,” Beheshtizadeh said.
