Iran Gains Access to New Generation of Plant-Based Gasoline Lubricants
The company succeeded in producing a wide range of environmentally friendly products by launching a green products refinery among which is the green gasoline lubricant; a completely plant-based, non-toxic and pollution-free product that is made by using the standards of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and is applied in vehicles to dissolve in gasoline.
The lubricant is 100% plant-based, non-toxic and pollution-free and can be dissolved completely in gasoline. These features increase the compression and combustion power in the engine cylinder. According to experts, the high lubricating properties of this product in gasoline reduce friction in the upper part of the piston stroke and keep the compression ring constantly lubricated. This function plays an important role in extending the life of the car engine.
The product also lubricates the fuel path from the rear pump to the injectors and gradually cleans the injectors. This process prevents wear of fuel supply parts and improves the overall performance of the system.
The presence of a significant amount of oxygen in the product causes more complete combustion of the fuel in the engine and prevents incomplete combustion and soot formation around the valves. As a result, the engine runs smoother and quieter, and its output power also increases.
Using green lubricant improves vehicle acceleration, increases speed, and reduces acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h. Also, due to its ash-free nature and high oxygen content, this product will reduce exhaust pollutants, including SO₂, HC, and CO.
In a relevant development in 2024, specialists of an Iranian knowledge-based company which produces oils and lubricants had also succeeded in finding a new formulation for making industrial lubricants.
“Considering the needs to industrial lubricants in Iran, our company launched a new production line for making industrial lubricants based on new formulations,” Ali Khedmatgozar, the managing-director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.
He added that the target audience of the new industrial lubricants is all industrial units, factories, vehicles working with diesel and gasoline, and mines.
“The industrial oils that are used for production lines in plants should have special features, including high transparency, therefore, we produced greases and lubricating oils with new formulations,” Khedmatgozar said.
