“In this plan, we examined 3 different organizations. The model was also designed and presented based on the information of experts and the data that was based on the information that existed. This model is presented as an ecosystem model and a native model of cyber security and defense for the knowledge-based companies,” Alireza Soudmand, a PhD researcher in Information Technology Management, Smart Business told ANA.

“This model is based on the opinions of all experts and the use of main and technical indicators. In addition, infrastructural, structural and non-structural topics are also considered in this model. Also, this model has been developed based on the upstream documents that exist in the country,” he added.

“The most important issue for the knowledge-based companies is portecting the data, knowledge and information that the companies have in databases and information sources, for this reason we had to develop a model based on the local structures,” Soudmand said.

In a relevant development in September, Iranian researchers at the Data Science Center of Sharif University of Technology with the support of the Development Headquarters of Connectivity and Communication Technologies of Iran had also succeeded in developing a system based on artificial intelligence that improves the security of communication networks.

“SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) system is able to intelligently help in quick response to cyber threats, and after detecting intrusion into an organization, it can quickly suggest the necessary measures to the security professionals,” said Siavash Ahmadi, a faculty member of Sharif University of Technology.

He explained that SOAR is an advanced security platform that focuses on three axes of coordination, automation and response, saying, “Coordinating and integrating various security tools and systems, collecting and managing security data from multiple sources, information security, quick and efficient response to security incidents, providing quick and effective responses to security incidents, prioritizing incidents, analyzing them and presenting recommendations to reduce or neutralize threats are among the salient features of this product.”

“Security and information technology teams, service desk and incident management systems, cloud platforms and external applications are the customer environments of this product,” Ahmadi said.
