تظاهرات در مخالفت با بازداشت شهردار استانبول در شهرهای سراسر ترکیه ادامه دارد.
به گزارش خبرگزاری آنا، روز پنجشنبه خبر بازداشت شهردار استانبول و مهمترین رقیب احتمالی رجب طیب اردوغان در انتخابات پیش رو موجب اعتراض در سطح عمومی ترکیه شد.
پس از انتشار خبر بازداشت اکرم امام اوغلو در پی تجمع حامیان وی در دانشگاه استانبول نیرو‌های پلیس وارد دانشگاه شده و با دانشجویان درگیر شدند.
این درگیری پس از آن رخ داد که ممنوعیت چهار روزه برای عدم تجمع در استانبول نیز از طرف استانداری این شهر اعمال شده است.

به گزارش آنا، پلیس ترکیه همچنین از گاز اشکآور برای متفرق کردن معترضان به بازداشت شهردار استانبول استفاده کرد.
