Iranian Researcher Produces Anti-Stick, Anti-foam Agents Used in Dairy Industry
Mehrosadat Mirmohammadi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shuka Shimi Spadana knowledge-based company, told ANA on the sidelines of Asreh Omid Event, “Our company produces anti-foam and anti-stick for dairy products. In addition to dairy anti-foam and anti-stick agents, we also produce sugar anti-foam and CIP (cleaning-in-place) washing system for washing dairy waste.”
“Dairy antifoam prevents milk from foaming during cheese production. When milk boils, it foams, which is a problem for industries, so they use defoamers to solve this problem. Anti-stick also prevents cheese from sticking,” Mirmohammadi added.
“The anti-foam is used in the dairy industry in a different way as well. When washing production lines, foam is produced, which makes washing process difficult. In addition, production lines may not be completely cleaned. Also, a lot of foam in the sewage also causes environmental problems. CIP anti-foam solves this problem. Sugar anti-foam is also used in the production of sugar, chocolate and sweets,” the researcher added
She also stated that their products have been commercialized and made available to customers.
“Most of our customers are not ordinary people and the dairy industry is our main customer. In this field, we have our own customers and we do not see the need to advertise in the media. However, some of our products include detergents and disinfectants, and their customers are ordinary people. Therefore, attending such events can make our products be introduced to the market,” Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shuka Shimi Spadana knowledge-based company said about the Asreh Omid Event.
She asserted that they have based their company at the Islamic Azad University-Shahreza Branch in Isfahan Province in Central Iran, calling for the university’s further support for their firm.
The national Asreh Omid Event was held in late May in Tehran’s Grand Mosalla with the participation of 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research teams and startups.
