“Two-component epoxy adhesive for making materials (EP series) is a paste-like adhesive based on epoxy resin and amine modified hardener. Epoxy glue does not contain solvents and the amount of volatile organic substances in it is very small. This glue has extremely high adhesion and mechanical strength and creates a permanent connection,” Abdolreza Mir-Mohseni, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.

“Also, this glue is designed and formulated for both dry and water environments. Epoxy glue is designed, formulated and produced in six different grades for different needs of the industry. Epoxy adhesives EP60, EP61, EP62, EP63, EP64 and EP65 can be mentioned among the types of these adhesives,” he added.

Noting that epoxy adhesives are used in ceramic, concrete, rebar planting, sealing and sealing, stone, wood, metals and facades, Mir-Mohseni said, “Also, high quality and 100% domestic and indigenous materials are other features of the epoxy glue.”

In a relevant development last year, an Iranian company had also used polymeric nanocomposites to make special epoxy flooring which is resistant to wear.

‘Baspar Sazan Iranian’ company used a polymeric nanocomposite filled with appropriate oxide nanoparticles to produce the epoxy flooring through which superior wear resistance and hardness was obtained.

These features can be beneficial to floorings for certain applications like clean rooms and hygienic places.

The presence of the hard fillers in the polymeric matrix of the product has resulted in its higher abrasion resistance and favorable hardness.

The product can be used as flooring for clean rooms, hygienic places, food and beverage industries and residential and commercial places.
