Iranian Researchers Produce Sensors, Trackers for Vehicles
A technology company based in Tehran-based SUT, which was established in 2021 with the aim of providing smart life solutions through the development of equipment and software based on artificial intelligence and Internet of Things.
The company has concentrated its activities on making products that could be produced domestically. Meanwhile, smart and safe transportation is defined as the main mission of the company.
“Four models of fleet management hardware devices have been designed in the company, which are called trackers. They include trackers for electric bicycles and scooters as well as personal trackers. The trackers that are designed in this company are priced lower than foreign-made equivalents,” Abdullahi, one of the researchers in the company, told ANA.
“He noted that they have produced a combined tracker and car alarm in their company which not only shows the GPS position of the car but also provides its ECU data, and data about its acceleration and side sensors.
“We have also offered a internet-based application and system to users who can have all kinds of analysis and statistics, survey and monitoring reports for the fleet under their management,” he continued.
The technologist pointed to the after sales services and much lower prices in comparison with the foreign-made trackers as two big advantages of the sensors and trackers made in their company.
“In terms of security, our servers are located inside Iran, and Iranian user data does not go outside of Iran to cause any problems,” Abdullahi concluded.
