Iranian Company Produces Specialized Coatings Based on Epoxy Resins
Mohammad Ronaq Baqbani, the founder of Basparsazan Iranian company, described specialized coatings based on epoxy resins, polyurethane, methyl methacrylate as products of his company, saying that they can be used in different environments at a low price and with high durability, increased speed of work and diversity in design.
“These products protect the floors of structures against water, corrosion, dust, erosion, cracking, different weather conditions, static pressures, loads, impact, abrasion, chemical attacks and slipping,” he said.
“The nano-based floors of our company can be used in the warehouses of various industries like the automotive industry, food industry, parts manufacturing, airplane hangars, commercial and residential complexes, parking lots, and medical and health centers,” Baqbani said.
In a relevant development in June, an engineering company in Iran managed to apply inorganic nanoparticles to produce epoxy stone bonding adhesive.
‘FERMA High-tech’ engineering Co. Ltd produced the epoxy stone adhesive with a high degree of flexibility and transparency which enables filling the gaps due to its excellent adhesion.
The shear strength of this product has been promoted through the dispersion of inorganic nanoparticles in the polymeric matrix in low concentrations.
The incorporation of certain inorganic nanoparticles into the basic epoxy has led to higher compressive strength, improved resistance to sagging, better elastic modulus, shear strength, and hardness
The special epoxy stone bonding adhesive can be applied for outdoor applications (facades) and as an alternative mortar for building mortars, stick stones, concretes, and bricks.
