Iranian Knowledge-Based Firm Discovers Sports Talent in Children
“A child, who reaches the age of three, is initially placed in the basic skills department and his/her physical and motor skills are improved. The skills that make a child after the age of seven helps him/her to become an outstanding person in sports fields and increases his/her self-confidence,” said Mehdi Dorriz, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.
“When the child reaches the age of four, he/she is assessed for stature and skeleton, and a series of abnormalities such as flat feet, bent and crossed knees, hollow back, uneven shoulders, and any abnormalities that have developed over time are corrected with targeted games,” he added.
“At the age of seven and after a three-month training period, the child is tested with advanced devices, and five fields that are more compatible with his/her physical and mental abilities are introduced to the family for further work,” Dorriz said.
In a relevant development last year, Iranian researchers at a knowledge-based company had also succeeded in making a special sports vest with the capability to monitor health factors.
“These days, many movement and neurological disorders can be controlled and treated by non-invasive equipment," Mehran Mehraban, the director of research and development department of a knowledge-based company and a medical engineering student at Amirkabir University of Technology, told ANA, adding, "There are various Iran-made and foreign products in the market, but, our produced sports vest which uses nerve and muscle stimulation and neuromodulation technology, can be utilized for purposes like weight loss, muscle strengthening, fitness, rehabilitation, and several types of neurological and movement problems."
“Fast and low-cost service, good quality, reasonable price, medically approved technology, portability and wireless device are the main advantages of the product,” Mehraban.
He also noted that in new versions, the sports vests will be equipped with fat, muscle and health monitoring technology.
