Knowledge-Based Firm in Iran Uses AI to Save Energy in Buildings
“In our company, we were able to design our products based on the comfort of our customers by using extensive research; therefore we launched a special platform by using artificial intelligence,” said Mohammad Javad Vahid, the managing director of the knowledge-based company.
“Our company's smart systems increase the level of well-being, save energy, and optimize energy consumption,” he added.
Noting that all services and equipment of the company's smart panel can be controlled remotely and through the application, Vahid said, “The artificial intelligence’s responsibility is to optimize consumption in accordance with the consumption scenario.”
He underlined that the next step to be taken by his company is to control the equipment by using the capabilities of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, adding, “Energy storage, energy consumption and equipment control are the things that we seek to control by using artificial intelligence.”
In a relevant development in September, researchers at an Iranian knowledge-based company had also designed a system to translate the images of detected vehicles license plates to text using artificial intelligence algorithm.
Mohammad Mahdi Ebrahimi, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA that their firm is operating in the field of artificial intelligence and producing image processing software. "Cars traffic control software, weighing scales software, using modern programming techniques for managing databases are important products being worked on and produced in this company," he said.
Ebrahimi also said that the parking lot management software is considered as one of the most comprehensive software in the country, adding, “This software not only is easy to use, but it ensures the security of vehicles well with the capability to automatically compare cars when entering or leaving the parking lot."
“In this system, identifying the vehicle is done by automatic license plate detection, barcode card, RFID card, long range antenna or a combination of them,” he added.
