Iran Records 10% Growth in Production, Exports of Agricultural Machinery
“During the first 7 months of this year, over 21,000 tractors of all types have been produced in Iran, compared to about 19,000 units in the same period last year, showing a 10% growth,” Jamshidvand said.
He also underlined 10% growth in combine harvester production, and added, “In the first 7 months of last year, nearly 395 combine harvesters were produced, which reached 430 units in the first 7 months of this year thanks to the efforts of manufacturers.”
“With the growth in tractor and combine harvester production in Iran, the exports of some agricultural machinery have also grown by nearly 10 percent,” Jamshidvand said.
A knowledge-based company in Iran succeeded in producing a solution-spraying and solid-spraying drone for use in the agricultural industry.
“Our achievements include the production of specialized agricultural drones and related training and services,” said Mehran Shahrouz, a member of the board of directors of the knowledge-based company.
“The product for which we obtained the knowledge-based certificate is the brushless engine testing machine. This device is patented and used for QC of UAV propulsion subsystems,” he added.
“In the field of agricultural drones, there were many dissatisfied users in the country, because the after-sales service and the quality of the products of the companies in this field were not enough despite the efforts made. Using our experiences, we have produced a device where farmers can benefit from sustainable after-sales service in addition to the training they receive,” Shahrouz said.
