“We are specialized in artificial intelligence, metaverse, augmented and virtual reality,” Sadegh Heidari, the managing director of the Iranian knowledge-based company said in an interview with Iranian media.

He said that producing Augmented Reality (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR) glasses has been one of their company’s research areas.

Heidari explained that VR glasses are used in various fields for training personnel and technicians at military, medical and industrial workplaces.

He added that the glasses are used to give electrical, mechanical, welding and other industry-based training to the personnel.

The director of the knowledge-based company went on to say that the virtual training is growing more and more popular in today’s world, adding that the restrictions imposed during the recent Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of the VR training.

“These simulators are designed based on augmented reality or virtual reality technology, and when we presented this technology, they were not very familiar with it in different fields. For example, in the medical field, doctors were not familiar with this technology; therefore, we organized training courses for them,” Heidari said, adding that, “But its application in the field of medicine is very easy; for example, a lesson that is presented in the field of medicine during 8 sessions, we can present and explain it to students in 45 minutes using interactive simulation methods.”

“Our technology has been supplied to the universities of medical sciences in Mashhad, Tehran, some industries such as Persian Gulf Oil and Kerman copper companies,” he added.

“The devices and machines in the oil industry are expensive and cost several million dollars, and if the technicians are not trained well, they may damage them; but using this technology will prevent damage to the mechines and equipment during training,” he explained more.

He also said that the training content is provided to them by the business owners.
