In an interview with IRIB in Ankara, Khatibzadeh said Iran remains firm in defending its national security and territorial integrity, rejecting any compromise under pressure. He noted that despite attempts by adversaries to destabilize the country and mislead public opinion, the Iranian people have largely stood united.

He added that while the US may continue to pursue pressure tactics, a resolution depends on its willingness to act rationally and respect international law. Khatibzadeh also confirmed that indirect exchanges between Tehran and Washington are ongoing, though tensions remain high amid the US naval blockade and stalled negotiations.
