Five technological products of the technological companies of Semnan University’s Science and Technology Park were unveiled in a ceremony in the presence of Iranian Deputy Minister of Science, Research and Technology for Technology and Innovation Ali Kheiroddin.
“One of the unveiled products is the first Iran-made real-time monitoring software for renewable-energy power plants,” Ali Haqiqi Asl, the head of the Science and Technology Park of Semnan University, said.
“This product has been designed for complete and continued control of power plant equipment, and it reduces the time to identify problems and the need for continued presence of operators, and increases annual efficiency up to 10%,” he said, adding that the software is available online and in real time.
“This product will be sold to domestic and foreign markets under the brand name of Farskada,” Haqiqi Asl said.
Renewable energy is energy produced from sources like the sun and wind that are naturally replenished and do not run out. Renewable energy can be used for electricity generation, space and water heating and cooling, and transportation.
Renewable energy sources, such as biomass, geothermal resources, sunlight, water, and wind, are natural resources that can be converted into different types of clean and usable energy.
