Knowledge-Based Firm in Iran Manufactures 3 Ultrasonic Products

Ultrasonic sieve is the first product of the company which uses high-frequency vibrations to prevent clogging of sieve meshes and allows for smoother passage of fine powder particles. This technology is widely used in industries like powder paint, pharmaceuticals, food, and powdered metals.
Ultrasonic welding machine is another product made by the company. This technology is used to weld polymers without the use of glue or direct heat and can be used in high-volume production lines in the automotive, toy, packaging, and home appliance industries. The devices are designed and manufactured in a customized manner to suit the part and application.
Ultrasonic homogenizer is also made by the company which creates cavitation within liquids, allowing for homogenization, emulsification, and acceleration of chemical reactions. Semi-industrial versions of this product are currently used in some pharmaceutical and research production lines.
In a relevant development in June, Iranian researchers at another knowledge-based company had also succeeded in producing an ultrasonic laboratory homogenizer (sonicator) which has a wide range of applications in preparation and processing of laboratory samples.
“A sonicator is a powerful and versatile tool that uses high-intensity ultrasonic waves to transfer mechanical energy to liquids. This energy causes phenomena like cavitation, intense mixing, and particle crushing,” said Vahid Mosaddeq, a researcher at the knowledge-based company.
“Automatic frequency adjustment, use of a titanium probe, soundproof chamber, fast and efficient processing, precise process control, adjustable power, the ability to control the solution temperature, variation in sample volume, digital display, and the ability to connect to computer software are among the important features of this device,” he added.
Mosaddeq noted that the product is currently being produced and can be used in many laboratories and various fields like medicine, materials, and metallurgy.
