Iranian Experts Produce 600-Liter-Tank Garden Sprayer
“Relying on its scientific, workshop and expert human resources, Aliabad Katoul branch has succeeded in manufacturing a 600-liter sprayer that is designed to meet the needs of farmers in the region. This device can be effective in improving agricultural performance, reducing costs and increasing productivity,” Massoud Radmehr told ANA.
“This sprayer has also been designed to respond to one of the basic agricultural needs of Golestan province (in Northern Iran),” he added.
Radmehr explained that moving towards producing knowledge-based products and generating sustainable income has been one of the university's main approaches in recent years.
In a relevant development in 2024, Iranian Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Ali Nikbakht had unveiled a home-made sprayer drone named ‘Captain Bee’ during an exhibition in Tehran.
‘Captain Bee’ which has been developed by Sirang Co., an Iranian knowledge-based company, has special wings and utilizes photovoltaic (PV) technology to reduce battery consumption and enhance its functionality.
Reza Rostami, an expert at Sirang Co. said that the drone can be controlled remotely through artificial intelligence.
During the unveiling ceremony, Nikbakht emphasized the support provided to knowledge-based companies by the Agriculture Ministry.
