Iran's Foreign Trade Hits $25.3 Billion in 2 Recent Months

TEHRAN (ANA)- A report by the Iranian Trade Promotion Organization (TPO) said that the amount of foreign trade of the country hit $25.3 billion in the first two months of the year of 1403 in the Iranian calendar (beginning on March 21, 2024).

“The value of the country's foreign trade reached $25.28 billion this year, and the country's non-oil exports increased by 3.8% in the first two months of this year compared to the same period last year,” the TPO reported, adding that the first Iranian two months are Farvardin and Ordibehesht (March 21-May 20).

The amount of the country's non-oil exports in the first two months of this year increased by 3.8% compared to the same period last year and reached $8 billion, and the weight of non-oil exports in the first two months of this year was 23.5 million tons, showing an 8.5% increase compared to the same period last year.

The country's exports, including crude oil and mazut, technical engineering services and trade in cash, hit 16.2 billion dollars, the TPO report also said.
