Official: Iranian Merchants’ Signature Valid Internationally
"During this international event, the Iranian signature became global and merchants can certify products and goods with one test and one certificate to export the Iran-made goods to the world,” Eslampanah said.
He added that the successful result of the meeting with 97% of the votes from all the member states shows the failure of the enemy's attempts to impose sanctions against Iran.
“During this international event, the Iranian signature became global, (and therefore) the Iranian product will find its original identity in the world markets, the Iranian products will become more qualitative and competitive, hence the business will accelerate and the businesspersons can export their products to the world,”Eslampanah said.
Iranian Deputy Economy Minister and Head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Mohammad Rezvanifar announced in January that the country had exported 101.904 million tons of non-oil goods valued at $36.43 billion during the first nine months of the past Persian calendar year (ended on March 19).
Rezvanifar underlined that the nine-month non-oil exports indicates 26.48 percent growth in weight, but 0.68 percent fall in value, year on year, adding that the country's exports in the first nine months of this year, including oil, electricity, and technical and engineering services, and excluding the export via suitcase trade, reached $63.97 billion.
He put the value of the exports of oil at $26.46 billion, electricity at $300 million, and technical and engineering services at $780 million in the first nine months of the past year.
Rezvanifar also said that Iran has imported 28.7 million tons of goods worth over $48.4 billion in the first nine months of the past year, of which $60 million was the value of electricity import.
The nine-month import indicates a 12.29 percent rise in value and six percent growth in weight, year on year, he added.
The deputy economy minister also said that the imports of basic goods to the country reached 18.374 million tons in the first 9 months of the current year, valued at $12.116 billion.
