Iranian Company Makes Nano Products to Protect Vehicles, Buildings

The company has taken an important step towards improving the quality and increasing the lifespan of structures and vehicles with five nanoscale construction and automotive products.

The first product is a car wash containing nanoparticles and it prevents dust particles and environmental dirt from penetrating the car body with its nanostructure and antistatic properties.

The second one is a car wheel and dashboard polish and cleaner which uses nanoparticles to prevent dust particles and dirt from penetrating the surfaces of tires and dashboards.

Also, the company's nano engine wash, with its antistatic properties and ability to dissolve fats, prevents rusting of metal engine components and improves its performance without the need for water.

Meantime, the hydrophobic cement-based mortar produced by the company which contains nanoparticles and enjoys superhydrophobic properties prevents water from penetrating building surfaces and at the same time helps clean dust and contaminants from the facade surface.

Also, the polyurethane-based superhydrophobic coating containing nanoparticles made by the company enjoys waterproof and anti-corrosion properties to protect various building surfaces, light poles and industrial tanks.

In a relevant development in February, Houman Shimi Pars company in Iran had also managed to use nanotechnology to make a product that can effectively create hydrophobic properties in car glass and other glass surfaces.

The hydrophobic spray, under the brand name of Manida HAF, has been designed in a volume of 120 ml, and with the help of nanotechnology it modifies glass and other surfaces in such a way that raindrops move easily on the surface and do not make the glass wet.

Experts at Houman Shimi Pars Company, say that the spray actually helps reduce the frequency of washing the glass, and therefore water consumption is also reduced.

Manida HAF is specially proper for use on car glass and can help drivers see better on rainy or snowy days. It can also be used in homes, hospitals, buildings, hotels and shops.
