“Training courses for setting up technology parks and innovation zones are being held in 4 countries and then, they can have technology parks,” Mehdi Saffarinia told ANA.

“Earlier, a delegation from Venezuela had visited Pardis Technology Park and plans were made to set up a park in Venezuela with the guidance and advices of the Iranian authorities,” he added.

“Another course was also held in Pakistan where three members of Pardis Technology Park taught their experiences to nearly 110 people from different countries,” Saffarinia said.

“The second course was held in Indonesia in September and we have plans to run this course in Uzbekistan and Africa too,” he noted.

Saffarinia had also in May said that the goods which are produced in their innovation complex were exported to at least 40 different countries.

“The opportunities that were showcased during the four-day exhibition provided employment opportunities, experience, and opportunities for acquaintance, cooperation, and networking,” Saffarinia said.

He stated that the annual holding of the event helps in the quantitative and qualitative development of the innovation and technology ecosystem in the country, adding, “Among other opportunities created in this exhibition is the opportunity to introduce technological products and services to domestic markets and find partners for international cooperation.”

“This park has become an innovation zone with a complete ecosystem on an international level. Hundreds of thousands of Iranian and foreign technology companies with more than 9,000 experts … are operating in Pardis Park, and with the addition of the elites’ residential town, new dimensions of innovation have been created.”

“Pardis Technology Park has an international network in dozens of organizations, and Pardis Park's products are sold in 40 countries. In the future, we should increase the size of our area to 500 hectares; because the new holdings in the field of knowledge-based companies establish their own camps in this innovation area, and we hope that a major share of the knowledge-based economy will take place in this innovation area.”
