Iranian Company Produces Healing Ointments Containing Honey, Herbs
The company has commercialized the products with the help of organic substances by growing medicinal plants using indigenized technology.
Mohammad-Kazem Rashidi, the managing director of the company, referred to the company's activities in the field of producing ointments for the treatment of various diseases, saying, “We use completely organic medicinal plants and honey to produce our products.”
Due to the presence of some sensitivities in honey and other bee products, they are produced directly and under special conditions, he noted.
He went on to say that the company's hives have been selected for the establishment of farms to avoid environmental pollution and to be close to special vegetation in the highlands.
The propolis and olive oil in the ointments are effective in creating local anesthesia, and the honey in it has a nutritional role in the regenerating tissue, he highlighted.
“These ointments can reduce wound inflammation and have a positive effect on the proper growth of collagen fibers, neutrophils, and fibroblasts.”
The products lead to the complete treatment of bedsores, treatment of diabetic foot ulcers, healing of wounds and sutures, improvement of symptoms of cervicitis, and treatment of functional ovarian cysts, Rashidi pointed out.
No similar products are available in the domestic market and no imported materials are used, he said, adding that its preservatives are also organic.
“We have signed a contract with Germany for exporting the products,” he concluded.
