Iran-Made Probiotic Medicine Help Children without Side Effects
Speaking to ANA on the sidelines of the INOTEX exhibition held in Tehran on May 09-12, Sahar Bahmani, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, described the firm as the first company active in the field of producing probiotic medicine in Iran.
“In addition to this category of drugs that do not have the side effects of chemical drugs, our firm, with the help of another knowledge-based company, has been producing food supplement products that are mostly related to children,” she said.
“The distinguishing feature of the company's activity is that we produce some oral drugs, like Neurobion, that most companies make it in the form of ampoule,” Bahmani added.
“Two samples of probiotic drugs that are always very popular are children's pain reliever syrup and iron drops. The syrup produced in our company does not have any side effects for children, and the produced iron drops do not cause children's teeth to turn black,” she said.
