Iran Unveils 7 Home-Made Products for Power Industry
A new indigenous product called the 72.5 kV high-voltage GIS switchgear was unveiled, which, while saving the land required for substations, increases reliability, resilience, and compliance with passive defense requirements, and significantly reduces equipment installation time.
The unveiling of RTV silicone insulation coatings, presented by a knowledge-based company, was another part of the home-made products in the form of first-time production, which has a significant impact on reducing outages and network accidents. Using this technology will no longer require washing insulators in areas with high pollution and humidity, and at the same time, it will free the country from importing this technology.
The first production of RIP and RIS bushings up to 170 kV voltage level was also unveiled. Reducing network incidents, improving bushing storage and maintenance are among the benefits of this new achievement.
Meantime, the LBS capacitive underload switch was also introduced. This product has a significant impact on improving the voltage network and reducing losses.
Another product introduced at this event was the power transformer differential relay (multi-purpose multi-function), which significantly increases the reliability and stability of the power network by using this technology.
Also, two other products were unveiled at this ceremony, including the directional current protection relay (multi-purpose multi-function) and the mobile measuring device during partial discharge in high-voltage equipment. The benefits of these technologies include improving technical support services and speeding up fault diagnosis and network recovery.
