Ahmad Asgari, the general manager of Investment and Technology Indigenization at Pardis Science and Technology Park near Tehran, described Technovest was held at the Iran International Innovation Zone as an event to attract capital for the development and growth of companies.

“The real need of companies for investment and the growth potential of companies were among the components of selecting these teams. Also, prior to the Technovest event, investment advisory tables and training workshops were held with the aim of familiarizing companies with the investment process and properly presenting the needs of companies in the region,” he added.

At this event, eight startup teams presented their plans and plans to attract capital.

"Product search engine", "Financial and tax software", "Comprehensive tourism platform", "Direct energy deposition 3D printers", "Food security system", "Mobile and web gaming platform", "Real estate rental contract payment and conclusion software", and "Creating a premilled and abutment production line" were the plans presented at the event.

In a relevant development in June, a startup team in Iran had managed to develop a smart hospital platform that determines medicine dosages and controls drug interactions.

“The system we have developed is an artificial intelligence-based platform that simplifies a number of hospital processes, prescription systems, and pharmacies,” said Mohammad Farhadi, the project manager of the company.

“This platform has been developed in a way that it is capable of checking drug interactions and determining drug dosages for patients. It also controls drug contraindications for patients,” he added.

“In the next step, after identifying errors, this platform is integrated with the risk management system and decides what actions to take for each risk,” Farhadi said.

He underlined that artificial intelligence-based tools have been used in the development of this platform.
