VP: Iran Ready to Transfer Technological Experiences to African States

“Technology has always been a means of plundering the African countries, but from the perspective of the Islamic Republic of Iran, technology is a tool for empowering and developing friendly relations, and it will use this without any restrictions in the service of comprehensive cooperation between Iran and the African continent,” Afshin said, addressing the 3rd Iran-Africa Economic Cooperation Conference in Tehran.
He stressed the high capacity of the innovation and technology ecosystem of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and said, “All technological capacities in Iran can be transferred to the great continent of Africa.”
The third Iran-Africa Economic Cooperation Conference has kicked doff in Tehran as Iran seeks to broaden its economic relations with Africa.
Over 700 businesspeople from 38 African nations are taking part in the four-day event.
Africa, with its growing population and rich resources, is a huge market for goods. Given the significant increase in the volume of trade exchanges with Africa, Iranian businessmen currently require careful planning and targeted investment to have a strong presence in this market.
