Belarus’ Exports of Dairy Products Increase to 6 Million Tons in 2024

TEHRAN (ANA)- Belarusian First Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Alexander Lomsky announced that the country’s exports of milk and dairy products reached 6 million tons in 2024.
The dairy export growth rate increased by 11.5 percent in terms of volume and by 17.8 percent in terms of value in 2024, the official was quoted as saying by Xinhua.
The share of dairy products in the total food exports amounted to 40.3 percent. Lomsky stressed Belarus was still among the top exporters of dairy products in the world.
Algeria, Mexico, Kuwait, Nigeria, Kenya and other countries have opened their markets to Belarusian dairy products. The official stressed that the Belarusian producers not only sought to develop new markets, but also to diversify the range of products.
