“This product is specially designed to be used for recreation, patrolling and seafaring,” Mohammad Rasoul Behifard, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.

“This product is highly suitable for marine recreation and due to its appearance, it can be classified as a luxury and customer-friendly marine product,” he added.

“This product is designed and made so that sailors and fishermen can easily use it. Due to the marine type of the product, this vessel has high safety for seafaring and marine operations,” Behifard said.

In another development in 2022, caretaker of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman Marine Science and Technology Center for Innovation had said that given the large waste produced by processing plants, laser fish cutting machines were designed and developed by the Iranian experts.

“Now we are in the stage of launching the phytoplankton bank of the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman jointly with Arca Paydar Mahan company, and given the fact that a large part of the fish in the processing factories is discarded due to the carelessness of the workers, the laser fish cutting machines were designed and made in the center,” Touraj Assadi told ANA.

“We have signed cooperation agreements in the field of innovation, research, technology and training with all the organizations in charge of the sea, fisheries and aquatic issues in Hormuzgan province, among which are Hormuzgan Fisheries Directorate, Agricultural Engineering and Natural Resources Department, Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman Ecology Research Institute and the General-Directorate of Environment and Iran Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Corporation (ISOICO) in Bandar Abbas,” he added, noting that a contract has also been signed with the center regarding the creation of the phytoplankton bank.

“A technological unit active in the field of production of healthy products with Donilia Algae has also been created in this center,” Assadi said.
