Iranian Firm Exports Over 17,000 Homegrown Medical Devices to 50 Countries

TEHRAN (ANA)- A knowledge-based company in Iran has exported more than 17,000 advanced medical equipment to 50 countries across the globe.

The knowledge-based company, which was established in 1997, is operating in the field of designing and manufacturing advanced medical equipment such as patient vital signs monitors, advanced ICU ventilators, electrocardiographs, AED electroshocks, suction, etc.

“This company has been able to end the country’s dependence on imported data-x-items in the field of designing and manufacturing advanced medical equipment and turn Iran into an exporter of these advanced products to Europe, Asia, Africa and South America,” said Reza Yaqubzadeh, the CEO of the renowned knowledge-based company.

“Having more than 360 experienced personnel, over 70 of whom are working in the research and development, standardization and quality guarantees unit, the company has installed its produced systems in the most specialized medical centers across the country. More than 70,000 devices have been installed across the country, enjoying a satisfaction rate of over 85%,” the CEO added.

He stated that their knowledge-based company established a medical equipment factory in Malaysia 15 years ago to become an international company and neutralize the impact of the sanctions.

 Yaqubzadeh also said that their firm has begun potneted production in Belarus and in recent years has also set up a factory in Sweden. It also opened its factories in Turkey, Iraq and Indonesia, he added.

According to the CEO, all the parts used in the devices are designed and produced 100% inside the knowledge-based company. “From small parts such as connectors and screws to hardware and software of electronic and digital boards and signal processing algorithms and operating system, mechanical parts and plastic molds are all designed and produced inside the company.”

“In addition to being designed, produced and exported under Saadat trademark in Iran, the products designed and produced by this company are also sold in the world under European brands. Because all the Hi-Tech products of this company are designed and manufactured according to the standards of the European Union and the American FDA,” he also said.

"Currently, the products of the Iranian company …are offered in Germany under the Heyer brand, in Italy under the Siare brand, in Turkey under the Eretna brand, in Belarus under the Integral brand, in Sweden under Trionara brand,” he concluded.
