Iranian Researcher Seeking to Revive Architecture Atelier
“In architecture, the atelier had a real concept and good quality. But now the atelier is being faded. So, we are planning to revive the atelier again,” Hadi Keshmiri, a faculty member of the Islamic Azad University, Shiraz branch, said.
Architecture atelier provides holistic and professional design services on architecture, interior, landscape, furniture, and installation.
He made the remarks on the sidelines of the Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event.
The event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 1, 2022.
It aimed to exhibit new achievements and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
Some 3,000 knowledge-based companies, laboratories, research centers, and startups took part in Asreh Omid Event.
“With the decline of the atelier, the buying and selling of projects have increased and this issue has harmed the quality of architecture in the country,” Keshmiri stressed.
“We are looking for a platform that provides services for services,” he pointed out, adding, “In fact, we are planning to provide the ground for exchanging services from students to students without the need to exchange money”.
Moreover, the platform can also identify similar architectural projects and tell the percentage of similarity, he concluded.
Over the past year, in order to realize a resilient and knowledge-based economy, the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology has implemented a series of activities to further develop the ecosystem of innovation and technology in the country.
Strengthening knowledge-based companies are on the agenda, raising hope for reducing obstacles on the path to development.
In this regard, a strategic technology development headquarters was formed and 362,000 technological projects and 154 commercialization projects were supported, in addition to the inauguration of 23 national mega projects.
Iran’s technological priorities have been specified within the framework of a plan, based on which the country's knowledge-based companies have been equipped.
