Iranian Academics Study Details of Country's Cooperation in Europe’s RiskGONE Program
During the meeting, Dr. Qadiri, a member of the board of directors of the Iran Technology and Innovation Management Association, who collaborated in one of the previous projects of the Horizon Europe program, reviewed the structure of the EU’s support program for ‘Horizon Europe’, elaborating on the mechanisms of cooperation with this program.
Also, Hassan Pouy Pouy, the director of the standards and safety group of the Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council, explained about the details of the nanotechnology projects in the Horizon 2020 to 2027 program.
“Climate adaptation and health are among the important axes of these projects,” he said.
Pouy Pouy added that validation and approval of the legal executive's qualification, transfer of money, transfer of laboratory kits and required chemicals were among the challenges that the Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council faced in the way of participation in the RiskGONE project.
RiskGONE is an EU H2020 project (H2020-NMBP-13-2018 RIA), aiming at providing solid procedures for science-based risk governance of nanomaterials, based on a clear understanding of risks and risk management practices.
