Iranian Company Meets Domestic Needs for Air Compressors in Steel Industry
“Our activity is the production of lux-type and screw-type compressors and industrial compressor parts, which are mainly used in the steel industry in revival units,” Hamidreza Astaneh, the manager of the company, said, according to a report by the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy.
Emphasizing that similar models of compressors produced by the Iranian company are produced only in three German, American and Japanese companies, he said, “The level of know-how for the production of these compressors is very high and requires very advanced technology. Although the sanctions prevented Iranian customers from gaining these pieces, our industries managed to continue their activities and we are currently producing these parts in our country.”
Regarding the difference between his company and other companies with similar activities, Astaneh said, “Our focus is on the quality of products so that the conditions of production in terms of quality are completely consistent with the standards that foreign companies observe in their production. We have easily been able to replace the products of foreign companies by now, and our customers have completely replaced foreign products with ours. Also, the quality level of production is remarkable for the circumstances that our industry has been under.”
