459 Knowledge-Based Companies in Iran Compete for Flourishing Market of Pharmaceutical Products

TEHRAN (ANA)- Efforts made by the knowledge-based companies in Iran have helped flourishing of the market of home-made pharmaceutical products and decreased the country’s dependence on the global market.

Iran’s technological priorities have been specified within the framwork of a plan, based on which the country's knowledge-based companies have been equipped.

The result of this national action is registration of 7,571 knowledge-based companies in Iran which have used their knowledge and expertise in different fields putting the country on the path of development.

One of these areas that has recorded significant achievements with the help of knowledge-based companies is the field of medicine and advanced products in the areas of diagnosis and treatment which currently benefits from the expertise of 459 knowledge-based firms which are presenting their products to the Iranian and global market.

‘Fanavar Darman Pishro Tous’, ‘Salamat Andishan of Arseh Darou’, ‘Keyhan Azma Daneshafza’, ‘Milad Darou Noor Pharmaceuticals’, ‘Zist Bonyan Teb Hiva’, ‘Nivad Pharmed Salamat’, ‘ Amirkabir Polymer Pajouhan’, ‘Eshraaf Nanotechnology Production’, ‘Oxin Tech Tazmin’, ‘Ariojen Pharmed’, ‘Banoy-e Armaqan Teb’, ‘Riz Sanjesh Aria’, ‘Amin Pharmaceuticals’, ‘Pars Daam Poultry’, ‘Asa Darou Pooyesh’ ‘, ‘Biotechnologists of Mana Baft Hamanandsaz’, etc. are among the knowledge-based companies and groups which have contributed to the country's self-reliance in the field of medicine and advanced products in the areas of diagnosis and treatment by producing products and providing services.

Iran has been experiencing a threefold growth of knowledge-based companies since beginning of the current year (starting March 21, 2022), a report said.

Based on the official figures, total number of Iran's knowledge-based companies has surpassed 7,000 which says the country has been witnessing a threefold growth in this regard.
