“In our company, we produce devices like diag (diagnosis), injectors, ECU industrial testers, ECU programmers, radar which is used for car wiring, multiprobe which is an electronic toolbox in the car repair industry, and many software modules that are used for all domestic vehicles and foreign-made cars, including the Chinese cars, and Hyundai, Kia, etc.,” said Sahar Darzi, the managing director of the knowledge-based Negar Khodro company based in Mazandaran province.

She noted that 80% of the company's products are made internally and 20% are outsourced.

“Our company's products are distributed throughout the country and exported to neighboring countries,” Darzi said.

Earlier reports in November also said that another Iranian knowledge-based company had managed to produce special electronic parts for domestic auto-making firms, making the country needless of imports.

"Our company has been able to make the country free from imports by producing an electronic part of the car's fan speed controller circuit,” Milad Dabbaqha, the managing-director the knowledge-based Dornika Electronics Caspian company, stationed at the incubator center of Islamic Azad University’ Qazvin branch, told ANA.

Noting that the company has reached profitability with the efforts of its employees and managers and the support of Islamic Azad University, he said that it sells 36,000 parts to Iran Khodro company per month, which are used in Soren, Peugeot Pars, Dena and Dena Plus cars.

“The electronic part of the car's fan speed controller circuit is produced for these cars and another sample of the product is also used for Tara, Peugeot 206 and Peugeot 207 cars, and they will be mounted on Rira cars in the future too,” Dabbaqha said.

“We have sold over 170,000 parts to Iran Khodro so far,” he added.
