Iranian Knowledge-Based Company Produce UAVs for Aerial Imagery
Mohammad Hassan Hejrat, the managing director of the Iranian knowledge-based company pointed to the production of aerial imagery UAVs as one of the technological achievements of their company, explaining that their UAV which designed and commercialized under the name “Kohenz E1 and X1” have capabilities and superiority over their counterparts such as accuracy in aerial photography and being reasonably priced.
According to the Iranian Vice Presidency for Science and Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, he stated that the main focus of their company in designing aerial drones was aerial photography and surveillance.
He further noted that the bird can be used to monitor energy and oil pipelines, environment, agriculture and forestry.
Emphasizing that the UAV is designed in a way that is fully smart, Hejrat added, “This product takes off from a launcher and in mountainous areas it uses a parachute to land, which significantly increases its safety.”
The managing director of the knowledge-based firm considered the lower price of domestically produced UAV as compared to foreign counterparts and one-year warranty and five years of after-sales service among the advantages of their product over its rivals.
