Coach: Iranian Table Tennis Robots Better than Similar Foreign-Made Models
Speaking to ANA correspondent on the sidelines of Age of Hope National Exhibition (Asreh Omid Event) in Tehran, Ahadi said that science plays an important role in the development of sports.
“In any field, science can help. It also helps a lot in sports including table tennis,” he added.
The table tennis coach also said that there are two types of table tennis robots: ball throwers and the new generation robots with a hand like a real coach.
He said that the ball throwers that are produced in Iran perform very well and are better than the similar models that are imported from other countries.
“We bring talented players to the Azad University team who could contribute to the country’s table tennis federation,” according to the coach.
The National Exhibition of Age of Hope was held for four days starting from May 29, 2022, in the Grand Mossalla (Mosque) of Imam Khomeini (RA) in the Northern part of Tehran as a national scientific festival run by the Islamic Azad University in various fields of education and training of human resources, culture, economy, medical sciences, engineering sciences, humanities, etc.
