Iranian Researchers Stabilize, Strengthen Soil with Nano Particles

 “In our team of researchers who were the professors of geophysics and geotechnical studies from the state universities, we have presented nano approaches to solve challenges related to soil. We have offered 28 products, some of which are registered as inventions. The technologies that we have developed in the Asia Soil Amendment Company are of multiple ues and can be utlilized in other fields such as rubber and medicine. Currently, we are looking to expand the application range of these technologies,” said Hamed Niroomand, the Managing Director of Asia Islah Khak (Soil Amendment) Company.

 “All our graduates are focused on this field and they have been very successful. After graduation, they will go for company registration and commercialization of their achievements. This has helped to increase our scientific capabilities,” he added. 

"Sometimes it is seen that companies claim to use nanomaterials, but when their consumables are checked, unfortunately, nanomaterials are not found in their compositions. Therefore, we tried to carry out the entire process from the production of nanomaterials to their utilization in stabilizing and strengthening the soil in the Asia Soil Amendment Company to ensure the quality our output. We expect Iran's Nano Development headquarters and related organizations to continue to closely monitor the products in the market so that we can see suitable nano products in the market.”

 “Our nano additives increase stability of the soil to a great extent in and bring many other benefits to the soil,” Niroomand continued to say.
