“We are a group of companies with different kinds of products in the different fields of electronics, household devices, automation and Internet of Things (IOT). We also provide other companies with consulting services,” Lidia Huang told ANA on the sidelines of Iran's 26th International Exhibition of Electronics, Computers, and e-Commerce (ELECOMP 2023) in Tehran.

“We have been working with the Iranian companies for many years and I have come to the exhibition to expand my business. We provide special electronic boards to the Iranian companies and we also have a plan to set up a factory in Iran in the future,” she added.

Huang said that another purpose for her visit to Tehran is to pave the ground for the imports of the Iranian agricultural products like saffron and pistachio, saying that many Chinese people are fond of the Iranian food products.

She noted that her company also helps to create a connection between the Iranian firms and the Chinese companies which want to have interactions with the Iranian side but cannot find a way due to sanctions against Iran.

Asked about the activities of her company in the field of Internet of Things, she said, “In our company, we have switches or controllers which can be connected to the mobile phones and people can control their devices like heating and cooling instruments at home or office through an application to save energy.”

Huang explained that the Internet of Things can also be useful for the farmers to decrease the time and hardness of their work by using irrigation and planting devices and applications which can prevent them from moving to cities.

She also underlined that the specialists and engineers working for the Iranian companies are highly smart people, specially in the field of electronics, voicing willingness to increase cooperation with them.

Huang called on the Iranian Vice-Presidency for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy to show more support for companies’ business and cooperation with foreign firms.

“We are willing to share the market with the Iranian companies which will be a win-win business cooperation,” she stressed.

The ELECOMP expo is being held at Tehran’s Permanent Ground for International Fairs on June 25-28.

Over 450 domestic and foreign companies are expected to participate in the exhibition.

Uzbekistan, France, Pakistan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Syria, China, Russia, Turkey, Armenia, and Iraq are among countries that are to participate in the exhibition.

ELECOMP is regarded as the most significant commercial event in Iran’s electronics and computer products and services market.
