Iranian Knowledge-Based Firms Team Up for National Food Projects
The Biotechnology Development Headquarter is trying to meet the needs of the food industry by implementing five national projects in the field of the food industry with the cooperation of knowledge-based companies.
The production of light sugar (40 thousand tons per year), the production of carboxymethyl cellulose (300 tons per year), the production of dairy starter (60 thousand packages per year), the production of essential oil, extract, and seasoning (1,000 kilograms per year), and the production of flour and bread enzymes (60 tons per year) are the five projects.
Meanwhile, the production of gelatin (3,500 tons per year), the production of lactose (4,000 tons per year), the production of peptone and bacterial culture medium, and the recycling of bread waste to produce lactic bread or ultra-profitable bread are also underway.
