Iran Nearing Production of Anti-Personnel Mine Protective Footwear

TEHRAN (ANA)- Managing director of an Iranian knowledge-based company said that his company will soon hit local and regional markets with anti-personnel mine protective footwear.

Vahid Nami, the managing director of "Tejarat Teb Mandegar" said that study and research for production of anti-personnel mine shoes is one of the most important activities of the company. The mentioned footwear is at the sample stage in the company's laboratory and its results will be released in near future.

Nami further said that production of the first medical shoe for the treatment of diabetes in the world is one of the honors of his company, adding, "This product is capable of treating patients with braced legs, cruciate ligaments, heel spurs and knee deviations".

It is worth to say that Nami is a member of the American Association of Mechanical Engineers.

"Our unique products can compete with and be present in the regional and even global markets," Nami added.
