Knowledge-Based Firm in Iran Builds Advanced, Modern Controller for Automatic Production
The knowledge-based ‘Atropat Almas Ra'adasa’ company has succeeded in production of these controllers with application in wood, laser and soft metal CNC machines.
Managing-Director of the company Tohid Mohammadpour told ANA that their products are superior to the foreign models in terms of quality and price.
“These controllers are mostly used in plants and workshops that need to automate the production cycle to improve and accelerate the production process. They are applied as a controlling part in power plants and refineries,” he said.
“Among the other products of this company are CNC (Computer Numerical Control) and 3D printers, which are used in various industries, including wood CNC in interior decoration, inlay used in doors and furniture, CNC laser in metal cutting and sheets used in non-metal laser industry like advertising boards and CNC of stone, glass, etc.,” Mohammadpour added.
CNC is the automated control of machining tools (such as drills, lathes, mills, grinders, routers and 3D printers) by means of a computer.
A CNC machine processes a piece of material (metal, plastic, wood, ceramic, or composite) to meet specifications by following coded programmed instructions and without a manual operator directly controlling the machining operation.
