Iran-Made Raw Materials Decrease Imports of Wooden Products
The company’s products which include coated MDF sheets, MDF profile, PVC wall covering, marble sheet or artificial stones, ceiling tile, etc. are produced under the ‘AGE Group’ brand and have achieved a significant share in the domestic and regional markets.
Farzad Fekri, the managing-director and head of the Board of Directors of Asreh Novin company, told ANA that his company has succeeded in making a major contribution to the country by decreasing the imports of wooden products, coated MDF sheets, MDF profile, PVC wall covering, etc.
Noting that Iran was one of the main importers of wooden products, coated MDF sheets, MDF profiles, PVC wall coverings, etc. 20 years ago, he said that the Iranian companies and manufacturers, including Asreh Novin Industrial Group, helped Iran to turn into an exporter of such products to the regional states, including Turkey.
Iran has made progress in producing different construction materials and exported them to other countries.
In a relevant development, a group of Iranian engineers from the Southwestern city of Jahrom designed and worked on two kinds of concrete; smart concrete and textile-reinforced concrete (TRC).
Mohsen Sahraeian, who heads a team of engineers in Jahrom, in the Southern Iranian province of Fars, said that they have founded a technical company which has carried out different road construction, water canals, dam construction etc. over the past 15 years.
Sahraeian said that the name of their company is “Marsus”.
Regarding the smart concrete project, the head of the technical group said, "In the smart concrete project, considering the acceptable progress we have made so far, we hope to achieve desired results next year.”
