Iran’s Exports of Beverages Grow 13%
“Last year, the country's beverage industry experienced a 6% increase in production and a 13% growth in exports. The growth trend has continued in the first quarter of this year, indicating the high dynamism and capacity of this sector,” said Ebrahim Sheikh, the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade.
“We have estimated and planned strategic reserves of mineral water and other beverages. Also, packaging raw materials such as PET and necessary additives have been included in the supply plan so that there are no problems in critical situations,” he added.
Iran held an international exhibition for beverages, tea, coffee, and related industries, titled as Iran DRINKTECH 2025: The 12th International Exhibition of Drinks, Tea, Coffee, Fruit Juice & Related Industries (IBIE), at the Tehran International Permanent Fairground on July 30 to August 2, 2025.
The exhibition was the 12th edition of the event and aims to provide a platform for domestic and international exhibitors to showcase their products and technologies in the beverage and related industries.
The exhibition covered a wide range of products and services related to the beverage industry, including drinks, tea, coffee, and related equipment and industries.
The event attracted both domestic and international exhibitors and visitors interested in the latest trends and technologies in the beverage sector.
