Iran to Launch Heavy Space Payload Testing Lab Soon

“About satellites, if we want to move towards greater weights, the issue of integration and testing will be more complicated. For this reason, the issue of laboratory infrastructure under the title of AIT is one of the measures that was defined last year and that we are currently implementing,” Yazdanian said.
“At present, this infrastructure laboratory or our heavy payload testing laboratory is under construction and it is possible to operate this laboratory infrastructure in the Research Center by the end of this year or early next year,” he added.
“This laboratory infrastructure will provide services to our current projects and universities and research centers,” Yazdanian noted.
“By developing international interactions, if our neighboring countries need international interaction, we can also provide laboratory services to them,” he added.
Iran successfully attained the ability for orbital launches in 2009 and has made remarkable strides in its civilian space program, demonstrating resilience and innovation in the face of Western sanctions.
Iran stands as the ninth nation to successfully launch a domestically manufactured satellite into orbit using its own launch vehicle. It is now recognized among the world's top ten countries capable of developing and launching satellites.
