Islamic Azad University’s Professor among the World's Top 5 Aerospace Engineering Researchers

TEHRAN (ANA)- Morteza Khoshvaqt Aliabadi, a professor and prominent researcher at Islamic Azad University’s Shahroud branch in Northeastern Iran succeeded to grab a place among the top 5 researchers in mechanical and aerospace engineering at Korea University.

“This success was recorded based on the prestigious ranking of the scientific website Research.com and was achieved in one of the world's top universities with a global QS ranking of 67,” Behrouz Yahyayee, the vice-president of Islamic Azad University’s Shahrood Branch, told ANA.

He added that Aliabadi was also honored as one of the world's top scientists at Korea University, stressing that this title, which is awarded only to researchers with the highest level of scientific production and global impact, is a testament to the quality and depth of his scientific research and the scientific capacity of Islamic Azad University at the international level.

Khoshvaqt Aliabadi's research is focused on chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and advanced applications in thermal management engineering in various industries, Yahyayee said.

In a relevant development in 2024, Tahereh Momeni Esfahani, an associate professor and faculty member of Chemistry Department of Islamic Azad University, had also won the prestigious and international ‘Best Researcher’ award.

Momeni Esfahani, a distinguished member of the Faculty of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Basic Sciences of Islamic Azad University’s Arak Branch, in recognition of her brilliant scientific achievements in the field of Analytical Chemistry, and specially due to the publication of her latest valuable research in the prestigious microchemical journal, won the ‘Best Researcher’ award in the sixth international top teachers awards.

This international event, which was held on August 28 -29, 2024 in the historic city of Berlin, aimed to honor the world's most outstanding professors and researchers.
