Iranian Researcher Establishes "Aerospace Club" for IAU Students
Sajjad Rasti, the director of Iran Aerospace Student Club, told ANA on the sidelines of Age of Hope scientific festival (Asreh Omid Event) held by the IAU in Tehran’s grand Mosalla in late May that the club' aims have concentrated on educating students, help them discover and flourish their talents, combine science and air sports and familiarize students more with the field of aerospace studies.
"The club is operating under the Vice Presidency for Science and Technology and has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Education, and Omid Entrepreneurship Fund," he added.
The director of the club also said they organized a national flight festival for the first time in Iran for the students to compete and get familiar with the science and air sport.
Rasti concluded that the university graduates, engineering majors and those interested in the field of aerospace can enter the field of education and transfer the necessary knowledge to students after passing the coaching (instruction) course, learning standard trainings and obtaining an instructing certificate.
Islamic Azad University's "second step of revolution" under the title of Asreh Omid Event was held in Tehran's Mosalla from May 29 to June 01, 2022 to exhibit new achievements, equipments and products in the technological and innovation arenas in line with opening new windows towards strengthening the idea of creating ground for knowledge-based businesses at the 40th anniversary of establishment of the Islamic Azad University.
