Iran-Made Nano Products Exported to Different Continents

Iran has succeeded in producing and exporting nano products by investing in the field of nanotechnology research and development, and the country's main advantage in this area is access to domestic resources, lower cost compared to the western countries, and high competitiveness in production of nano-based raw materials, nanocatalysts and advanced equipment.
Geographical proximity to target markets in neighboring countries, reduced transportation costs and the use of political and commercial relations are other advantages of Iran's exports in this area. These factors have made Iran a major supplier of nanotechnology products in the region and some global markets.
The construction and civil engineering sector is one of the leading industries in nano exports, and Iraq and Afghanistan are the two main destinations in this sector. Central Asian countries like Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are also among the importers of these products.
In the field of optics, electronics and photonics, Iraq and Syria are at the top of the importing countries.
Russia is the only export destination for oil and petrochemical products and has alone absorbed all nanotechnology exports related to this industry.
Syria, Ecuador, Afghanistan and Turkey are among the main destinations for the Iran-made pharmaceutical and health products. In addition, countries from Asia and Africa to South America are also export destinations for the Iranian companies active in this field. Iran's nano anti-cancer drugs have so far been exported to various countries.
Turkey, Jordan, Iraq, Armenia and Azerbaijan are export destinations for Iranian products in the field of household goods.
Meantime, Iran's nano-based products in the field of power and energy are exported to Azerbaijan and Turkey.
India, Pakistan, the UAE and South Africa also receive the Iran-made products in the field of raw materials.
The secretary of Iran Nanotechnology Innovation Council announced in February that the country has exported more than $1 million worth of nanotechnology products to six developed states in the past Persian calendar year (ended on March 20).
By exporting more than $1 million worth of nanotechnology products overseas, the country plays a leading role in the global nanotechnology market, said Emad Ahmadvand.
Iran is busy and active in the field of exporting nanotechnology products to different countries and is now cooperating with various countries in the world in the fields of textile products and related equipment.
