Iranian Energy Industries Cooperating with Knowledge-Based Companies to Meet Technological Needs

In order to meet technological needs by using the home-made products, the agreement was signed between Pars Oil Company and one of the knowledge-based companies.
The main subject of the agreement is the interaction and consultation between Pars Oil Company and the knowledge-based company to use ideas, solutions and research products to implement the required projects and provide technological services in the field of water recycling.
Also, in a bid to meet technological needs by utilizing the indigenous products, an agreement was inked between Abadan Power Generation Company and one of the Iranian knowledge-based companies.
The main subject of the agreement is the interaction and consultation between Abadan Power Generation Company and the knowledge-based company for research solutions and products to implement the desired projects.
Providing technological services in the field of consulting and providing flame detectors is one of the commitments of the knowledge-based company in the memorandum of understanding (MoU).
Former Iranian Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian underlined last year self-sufficiency in water and electricity industry, saying that the country’s specialists are working on water and electricity projects in more than 50 world states.
“The specialists of our country's water and electricity industry are active in over 50 countries of the world,” Mehrabian said.
“Iran has achieved 100% self-sufficiency in water and electricity sector, and the measures adopted in the water and electricity fields not only meet the needs of the country but also other countries, specially the regional states,” he added.
Mehrabian also said that construction of renewable energy power plants with the capacity of 11,000 megawatts by the private sector has started.
