“With the help of the Islamic Azad University, we designed a product called an industrial coffee maker whose parts are Iran-made,” Farshid Ebrahimdokht, the managing-director of the company stationed at the incubator center of the Islamic Azad University’s Mahabad branch, told ANA.

“This product is a multi-boiler; of course, double-boiler and single-boiler models are also available, but similar devices are mostly assembled and their parts are not 100% Iranian,” he added.

“Except for the water pump, all other parts are Iranian, of course, the water pump can also be indigenized,” Ebrahimdokht said.

In a relevant development in September, an Iranian knowledge-based company had created a revolution in the beverage industry by making a natural product with coffee features.

“This product is very similar to coffee in terms of aroma, taste and color, but the main difference is that it is caffeine-free. This feature makes Orzo a good choice for people who experience problems with caffeine like heart palpitations, insomnia or stomach problems. While decaf coffee, due to special processing methods, can be more harmful to the body,” Massoud Hosseini, the managing director of the knowledge-based company, told ANA.

Noting that Orzo does not contain caffeine while giving energy to the body in three ways, he said, “First through B group vitamins, specially B3 and B6, which comes from the product's cereal base. Second, it stimulates the villi of the tongue and triggers the release of dopamine in the brain, which is produced during the product's five-step roasting process. Finally, the energy obtained from this drink is transferred to the body due to this processing and its natural compounds.”

“Although orzo has foreign counterparts and it is usually available as an instant powder that dissolves directly in boiling water, Capaggio's orzo is served with freshly processed and ground beans, which has a much better quality and taste than similar instant products in Italy and Europe,” Hosseini said.
