Iranian Knowledge-Based Companies to Attend GITEX Global Expo
“This year, a pavilion of knowledge-based Iranian companies consisting of 20 relevant companies will be present at GITEX this year,” Arash Haji Mirmalek, the manager of the empowerment department of Innovation and Prosperity Fund of Iran, told ANA.
“We will not have a pavilion in GITEX’s global section, because our goal is to develop the market of knowledge-based companies, and Iranian companies are somehow more in the startup section of the exhibition,” he added.
Noting that b2b meetings have been planned to attract capital and sell products, Mirmalek said, “Only knowledge-based companies are present in this exhibition which are active in the field of information technology and other related fields.”
He explained that information technology and software sectors (health, energy, smart city), cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, fintech, education technologies and telecom are considered as the areas of GITEX.
GITEX GLOBAL 2024, marking its 44th edition, which will be held on October 14-18, stands among the world's most established and iconic large-scale tech exhibition.
For over four decades, it has been the premiere gateway for tech creators, investors, and enthusiasts to collaborate.
This year, the event scales new heights, spanning across two mega venues - Dubai World Trade Centre & Dubai Harbour. It offers an unprecedented 40+ halls of exhibition space, showcasing tech giants and innovative startups in fields like AI, Cybersecurity, Mobility, Sustainable Tech, and more.
