Official: Iran’s Non-Oil Goods Exports Rise by 1.3 US Billion Dollars in 1st 4 Months
“In the first four months of this year, about $17.5 billion of non-oil commodities were exported from the country, 1.350 billion more than the same period last year which shows an 8.3% growth,” Rouhollah Latifi said.
The spokesman said that Iran’s non-oil exports recorded to be $3.1 billion in the first month of Farvardin in the Iranian calendar, showing a 17% decline in comparison with the same first month last year. He added that, but, in the second month of the current year of 1403 in the Iranian calendar (Ordibehesht), the non-oil exports grew by 24% compared to Ordibehesht last year, making up for the decrease in Farvardin.
Latifi went on to say that in the second month this year of 1403, $4.8 worth of non-oil goods were exported, $934 million more than in Ordibehesht of 1402.
According to him, the highest volume of exports of non-oil commodities in the first four months was for the third month of Khordad, which was $5.4 billion, showing a 14% growth compared to the same month last year with $663 million more non-oil goods exports.
Latifi went on to point to the figures for month of Tir and said that $4 billion were exported last month in the Iranian calendar, $400 more than the same month last year, showing 11.5% increase.
